An oasis of tranquillity in the heart of Central London, St James’s Square is a much treasured, green space. Surrounded by imposing architecture, the gardens have evolved over the centuries and includes the vision of the renowned Victorian landscape artist John Nash.
Just a short stroll from Piccadilly Circus, this private garden belongs to the St James's Square Trust which is made up of freeholders of the square. The Trustees open the garden to the public to enjoy from 7.30am – 4pm Monday to Friday.
The Trustees are extremely proud of the Square’s historical legacy and are the custodians of the oldest Trust of its kind dating back to 1726.
